| Harvest (7th & 8th September) Harvest is a spectacular gala concert created, written and directed by Capercaillie's Donald Shaw. It is a multi faceted celebration of the musical interplay between Europe's various Celtic traditions. The stellar presence of fifteen top international singers and musicians such as Capercaillie's Karen Matheson, Charlie McKerron and Mike McGoldrick, Guadi Galego from Galicia, Karan Casey from Ireland, Highland musicians Anna Massie, Aidan O'Rourke and James McIntosh and Brittany's outstanding flautist Jean Michel Veillon combines with over forty young Highland Fèis students to give a thrilling performance of new music. | Piping Concert, Tulloch Castle (Thursday 6th September) The Blas festival 2007 and Fèis Rois bring you a stunning pipe concert at Tulloch Castle in Dingwall on Thursday 6th September at 7.30pm, featuring Kathryn Tickell Band, Ross Ainslie, Jarlath Henderson, Innes Watson and Ali Hutton. This is a one off concert and not to be missed! Presented in the Grand Hall which is considered by many to have the finest acoustics in the country for a piping concert. | |
