Fèis Rois na h-Òigridh – The Junior Fèis

Impromptu session at Senior Fèis 2017, featuring fiddles, guitar, accordion, clarsach and a cello.

Our next Junior Fèis takes place from Monday 2nd until Friday 6th April.

Fèis Rois Oigridh – the Junior Fèis is a residential week for young people in P4 to S1, full of music, song, dance, and most importantly, fun for all participants! As always, the Fèis takes place in Ullapool and is packed with classes and evening activities such as sessions, the tutors concert, sports and crafts and a good old Highland ceilidh. The week culminates with the participants’ concert in the Macphail Centre which gives students the chance to show off what they have learned to friends and family.

Children are supervised at all times and we work in accordance with Child Protection and Health & Safety Guidelines. A team of supervisors, volunteers and Fèis Rois staff ensure the smooth running of the event and are committed to creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
The Fèis offers classes for all levels and beginners are always welcome. This year, classes include instrumental classes such as fiddle and accordion, singing and songwriting, drama, dance, and much more.
